No BS – Transparent – Green

We have a revolutionary approach when it comes to financing a solar system!

Our goal is to grow our business through referrals from our existing clients. We will not be the cheapest quote you might get because we refuse to burden our customers or ourselves with low quality products. But for what you get we will be priced very competitively!

We know that as we conduct our business with transparent honesty we will provide our customers with the best possible service while also enjoying a good reputation. See our Lies page for more details.

According to the independent US Energy Information Administration the cost of electricity has gone up 4.5% EVERY year the last 10 years.

Right now, you pay an electric bill that will periodically go up, with no end in sight. There are no guarantees regarding how large price increases will be, or how often they will occur. You have a lifetime contract with the utility company. You will never have your electric payment paid off. With solar payments unless you pay cash, there IS a light at the end of the tunnel. Once your solar array is paid off, you’re done!

If you finance your solar payment should be less than your current electric bill, with ZERO out of pocket costs. Contact us today to get your free quote customized for your home

Solar panels typically have a 25-year warranty but what good is that if your solar installer goes out of business? That’s why we utilize only the best installers in the country, who have a long term proven track record.

A few bad apples have created some problems for other solar customers (not ours). That’s why we believe it is best to only use installers who will be around to provide warranty service for the life of your solar system. You can rest assured we’ve got your back.

We’ll propose the best solar installer for your home!

Great customer service is a huge priority for us here at Green Solar Savings. Our installers’ dedicated technician will visit your home to confirm the system design, verify measurements, and adjust for shade and obstructions on roof. After the site evaluation, a solar design expert will make any number of adjustments to the customized plan to ensure everything looks and operates perfectly.

If your roof has several years worth of life remaining we suggest not replacing it. If a severe storm causes damage to your roof it will get replaced under your homeowner’s warranty, very often including your solar panels. Make sure to declare your new system to your insurance company (we’ll remind you to do so).

If you sell your home later your solar system can get paid off at closing. According to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) solar systems add an average of 4-5% to your home’s value. And if you decide to rent your home instead then any potential renters will be glad to pay less for their electricity as well!

Thankfully many states have passed laws making the increased value of your home exempt from property tax increases. So, no need to pay extra taxes because of your solar panels.

What does the installation process look like?

Feel confident that your solar installation is in the hands of one of the Nation’s Top Rooftop Solar Contractors! We customize every detail of your design and project specifically to your unique needs. Read more information about each step below.

Site Survey and Design

Your dedicated technician will visit your home to confirm the system design, verify measurements, and adjust for shade and obstructions on roof. After the site evaluation, a solar design expert will make any number of adjustments to the customized plan to ensure everything looks and operates perfectly. Once you approve we proceed to the next step!

Permitting

After design plans are finalized, they will be submitted by your installer to the local city government Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for permitting. Permit approvals are subject to schedule of the governing AHJ Department.

Installation

After permit approval your installer will contact you to schedule installation. When the install team arrives they will go over the design plans for final approval before they begin. Once the installation crew wraps up the job, they’ll finish by giving you a complete Solar 101 training on your system.

City Inspections

There must be a final inspection by the city or county before the system can be connected to the grid. Depending upon the time of install, the backlog of solar inspections, and the local government, the estimated time to complete this step does vary.

Utility Connection

Two things that need to happen before the system can produce electricity. First, your installer will submit the documents to the utility company to connect to the grid, who will provide your PTO (Permission To Operate). Second, the utility company has to install net metering to track how much energy is being produced so you get credit for your excess solar power!
